Baskerville Pullover
DETAILS
The Baskerville pullover is a tribute to the chill of a Devonshire wind and the quiet dread that creeps across the moor in Conan Doyle’s classic tale. A quilted diamond yoke recalls the padded textures of traditional field jackets, offering warmth and structure against the elements. The ¼-button placket nods to utilitarian outdoor gear, while the tall, ribbed collar stands as protection against shifting fog and low, murmuring winds.
Baskerville is a unisex, bottom-up pullover with set-in sleeves and a classic, structured fit. The body is worked in the round to the underarms, then divided and knit flat, with a centered placket split shaping the quarter-button opening. Sleeves are picked up and worked top-down, and the folded ribbed collar and button bands are added last for a polished finish.
Rugged, atmospheric, and timeless, Baskerville is a pullover for those who love a good mystery and the quiet beauty of a vast, foggy moor.

YARN REQUIREMENTS
Yardage is estimated for this pattern as written. Total yarn usage will depend on your personal gauge, modifications you may make and the yarn you use. If you’d like to add extra length for a custom fit, be sure to have more yarn on hand. This pullover makes a beautiful garment when worked in a single color, but also has a lot of room for colorblocking, where you can add your own personality with multiple colors.

CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE: ADDITIONAL COLORBLOCKING YARDAGE ESTIMATES
With the way this pullover is designed, you can really show your creativity with the colorblocking of this pattern. Want to make the button band placket and collar a different color? Do it! Have fun! The below estimates are there to help make sure you have the right amounts of yarn as you Choose Your Own Adventure.
NOTE: For colorblocked versions, yardage is calculated and rounded up for each section separately. This may cause the total yardage to appear higher than the single-color estimates, but helps prevent running short of yarn for individual components. And remember, total yarn usage will depend on your personal gauge, modifications you may make, and the yarn you use. If you’d like to add extra length for a custom fit, be sure to have more yarn on hand.
