This simple cardigan is done using basic Tunisian crochet stitches to create beautiful basketweave and honeycomb effects. There are no increase or decrease stitches for shaping, in keeping with the comfortable boxy shaping. The fun-to-wear style draws compliments from crafters and non-crafters alike! Pattern includes full-color close-ups of all 3 stitch combinations used in the sweater, a complete materials list and clear instructions on how to calculate for your size and how you want your sweater to fit.

This sweater was previously known as the Basketweave Kimono Sweater. If you already have this pattern, nothing has changed in this update.

This pattern is written so that you can use absolutely ANY kind of yarn. Instructions are given for measuring and swatching each of the 3 Tunisian crochet stitches used so that you get the fit you want with the yarn you want to use. Using 2 sizes of afghan hooks is also optional, but you will need the longer flexible hooks.

Model was worked with approximately 6 balls of peach Lily Cotton Elite.

Gauge: Basketweave swatching explained in pattern.
