• The Bathroom Buddies set comprises a pattern for a knitted washcloth and soap holder, both worked in seed stitch.
• The washcloth is worked flat, back and forth on two needles or one circular needle.
• The soap holder is worked in the round and the pattern is written for the magic loop method. You can, however, use your preferred method e.g. dpns, sharing your stitches across your needles accordingly.
• The soap holder is worked from the bottom up, beginning with Judy’s Magic Cast-On.
• Instructions are given for a double yarn over buttonhole for the soap holder. The hanging loop is created using a crochet chain. You can use your preferred method for either of these features.

Sizing:
One size.
The washcloth measures approx. 21 cm x 21 cm.
The soap holder measures approx 10 cm (w) x 11 cm (h).
Materials:
Yarn: Approx. 50g/104m/114y DK cotton yarn (pictured is Emu Cotton DK in White, Sand and Pistachio).
Needles: size 4mm - 2 straight needles or 1 circular needle for the washcloth; 1 circular needle for the soap holder, long enough for the magic loop method. You may also use dpns or two circular needles to suit your preferred method.
Notions: Darning needle, 4mm crochet hook for the soap holder loop, one button approx. 15 mm.
Gauge
For comparison, Emu Cotton DK has a gauge of 22 sts and 28 rows to 4 inches/10 cm in stocking stitch. Gauge is not too important for this project, however.
