Bayshore Socks
I was inspired to design this pair of socks after a long weekend getaway to Traverse City, Michigan. I picked up a gorgeous skein of locally hand dyed yarn and wanted a pattern that had an engaging yet easily memorized texture repeat – something I could knit on the go, and be able to pick up/put down without losing my place in the pattern. Named after the marathon that was the catalyst for a weekend up north, the Bayshore Socks are the first in my trio of Mitten State inspired sock designs to hail my newfound status as a Michigander.
Special thank you to my testers Carly, Jessica, Kim and Tina for their help with and support of this pattern!
