Cranbrook Socks
The Cranbrook Socks were borne out of my desire to knit something slightly more elevated than a plain vanilla sock but still straightforward and easy to knit. I love a sock pattern that has a memorizable repeat and looks good in any yarn, including self-striping, and this one checks both boxes. Named after the historic Cranbrook Gardens in metro Detroit (where I got engaged!), the Cranbrook socks are the second in my trio of Mitten State inspired sock designs to hail my newfound status as a Michigander.
Special thank you to my wonderful testers Alyssa, Caitlin, Carly, Jen, Kelsey, Kim, Kimberly, and Tina for all of their help with this pattern.

This pattern is written for magic loop and is worked cuff down. It has a 1x1 ribbed cuff, a heel flap and gusset, and a rounded toe. However, you can use any style of small circumference knitting, as well as any cuff/heel/toe combination of your choice.
