Since not everyone can have a life-sized droid living in their home, I’ve decided to create a pattern for a small BB-9E! As always I’ve designed this pattern so that the head can spin 360° around. He’s approximately 18cm tall once completely assembled (depending on your tension), and it took me just over 5 hours to make. Practically no time at all! Once you get going, you are simply hooked and end up with an army of them. You can make at least two droids out of all the materials you gather, so there’s no excuse not to make more! The only thing you would need to buy more of would be the buttons so that his head moves, but you can always skip that and sew the head directly to the body to make it stationary.

-Panda Magnum 12ply Yarn Black OR Creative Corner Super Soft yarn 8 ply 100g is a good substitute
-Heritage Mills Yarn Light Grey OR Needles Yarn 8ply Light Grey
-Heritage Mills Yarn Sky Blue OR Needles Yarn 8ply Sky Blue
-Heritage Mills Yarn Red OR Needles Yarn 8ply Red
(Heritage Mills Yarn has since been discontinued, so the Needles Yarn will work well as a substitute)
