The BBC Beanie is a good beginner pattern for knitters wanting to learn a cable technique. The beanie is worked in the round, so either DPNs or magic loop technique is required for finishing. Yardage is included for both fitted cap and slouchy beanie options. Note that if you prefer a versatile hat, I recommend knitting the slouchy beanie option (5” body) and folding the brim when you want a more fitted look. Special stitches included in this pattern are: Beth’s Braided Cable. Links to video tutorials are included in the pattern. Note that videos are on Instagram.
