Beachscape is the crochet sister to Tous les Jours. The colors in this design are reminiscent of the beach, hence the name. This design uses 3 colors of fingering weight yarn worked with a larger than expected hook to keep the wrap light and airy. Whether you choose a subtle palette or use striking contrasting colors, this wrap will never disappoint.

Yarns and yardage used:

Color A: Dye Lots Studio Squish Fingering, 80% SW Merino/20% Nylon, 100 grams=400 yards/ 365 meters, in color Cold Weather Blues. Approximately 288-331 yards/263-302 meters used.

Color B: Jam Jar Yarns Vine-Ripened Sock, 75% Merino Wool/25% Nylon, 100 grams=463 Yards/423 meters, in color Butterscotch. Approximately 365-419 yards/333-419 meters used.

Color C: Jam Jar Yarns Sunkissed Sock, 80% SW Merino/20% Bamboo, 100 grams=436 yards/ 398 meters, in color Castle in the Sky. Approximately 388-445 yards/354-406 meters used.

Or any 3 colors of fingering weight yarn.

Crochet Hook:

US size I/5.5 mm hook or size needed for gauge.

Gauge

Approximately 16 sc and 20 rows equals 4”/10 cm square before blocking.
This wrap is worked up in a larger than normal gauge to ensure proper drape. While not extremely important, you may run out of yarn if gauge measures larger.

Finished measurement:

Approximately 98”/249 cm by 18”/46 cm after blocking.
