Pattern Details

  • Skill Level: Easy, US Terminology.
  • Techniques: Basic stitches, working in the round, bead-as-you-go (no pre-stringing).
  • Gauge: 6 rounds of 6 beaded stitches around dowel = 1” (~2.5 cm) using 1.0 mm hook.

Materials

  • Yarn: #10 crochet cotton, approx. 8 g. Sample: Knit Picks Curio #10
  • Hook: 1.0 mm
  • Beads: Size 6/0 Rocaille seed beads, 30–40 g (1–1.5 oz). Miyuki brand used in sample bracelets.

Additional Supplies: Tape measure, tapestry needle (size 18 or 20), small, sharp scissors

Notes: A pencil may work as a substitution for the dowel. Avoid using a straw—it can collapse under the weight of the work, which can distort the shape of the bracelet.
