FINISHED SIZE: The sample bracelet measures ~8 in | 20.00 cm in circumference and stretches to fit hands that measure ~8 – 9 in | 20.00 – 23.00 cm in circumference at the widest point. See the pattern for customization info.
GAUGE: 1 in | 2.50 cm = ~6 rounds of 6 beaded sts when working around the .25 in | 0.60 cm diameter wooden dowel.
SUPPLIES:
Yarn: #10 crochet cotton thread in your color of choice. Yarn used in the samples: Knit Picks Curio #10, 2-ply crochet thread, (#0, Lace Weight), 100% Mercerized Cotton; 721 yds | 366 m per 100g|3.5oz ball.
Hook: 1.0 mm
Beads: Size 6/0 Rocaille seed beads in color(s) of choice; ~30 – 40 g | 1 – 1.5 oz of beads. Bead brand used in samples: Miyuki.
Other Tools and Notions:
– Tape measure
– Tapestry needle size 18 or 20
– Small, sharp scissors
– Wooden dowel, 0.25 in (0.6 cm) in diameter and 10–12 in (25–30 cm) in length. A pencil can also be used as an alternative. However, do not substitute a straw—straws lack the necessary stability and often collapse, which can distort the shape of the tube and result in an uneven bangle.
