This shawl can glitter with beads like frost upon the last blooming of the season.

There is a choice between knitting a half circle or adding more segments to form a crescent.
Size depends on the yarn and needles chosen, with fingering yarn the shawl will be 150 cm (60 inches) wide.
Yarn needed: between 600 meter (655 yards) and 870 meter (950 yards) depending on the choice of repeats.

Beads form an essential part of the pattern, but knitting without beads is always possible.
Size of the beads used 6/0 (4 mm).
There are 1421 beads needed for the 3-repeat, 1798 beads for the 4-repeat, 2175 beads for the 5-repeat.

The pattern is charted with use of color, and a description of the provisional cast on and crocheted bind off is included.
WS rows are not charted, they are just purled except for the edge stitches (garter stitch) and stiches above multiple yarnovers.
