Beam me up Scotty is part of my 4 pattern collection Better Together: Flirtations with Brioche, a collaboration with Malabrigo Yarn for their Malabrigo Freelance Pattern Project.

If you are new to Brioche, start here, beam yourself up to the Brioche wagon!

There are few things cozier than a thick cushy brioche knit cowl, especially when paired with a soft merino yarn like Malabrigo Washted!

Beam me up Scotty is quick to knit, visually striking and an easy way to familiarize yourself with some of the basic brioche stitches.
The cowl is first worked flat in 2-color Brioche with buttonholes worked alongside a garter edge, then the cowl is joined in the round and finished with a cushy garter stitch section that tucks in and under your coat.

Button it up or let it fall open like a cozy collar, the cowl fits under your winter coat to give you extra warmth with a touch of style.

With easy video tutorials on my YouTube channel, this Brioche cowl will be a breeze to knit, even if you have not attempted to try yourself at Brioche before!
Beam me up, I am ready!
