BEANIE 05
The Beanie 05 Knitting Pattern is an advanced beginner pattern for knitting a classic fitted beanie featuring a deep folded ribbed brim, smooth stockinette body, and gradually shaped crown.
Worked with one strand of worsted-weight wool held together with one strand of silk mohair, Beanie 05 has a soft, warm fabric with a subtle mohair halo. The timeless silhouette is designed to fit most adult head sizes with comfortable negative ease.
The downloadable PDF includes clear written instructions, sizing and finished measurements, yarn requirements, gauge information, schematics, and technique guidance to help you complete your project.
ABOUT THE PATTERN
Beanie 05 is worked bottom-up, seamlessly in the round. The beanie begins with 1 × 1 ribbing to create a generous folded brim before transitioning to stockinette stitch for the body.
The crown is divided into three sections and shaped with paired decreases for a clean, gradually rounded finish. The pattern is worked holding one strand of worsted-weight wool together with one strand of lace-weight silk mohair throughout.
