Cute and easy to knit stocking. The top of the hat has eyelets to thread the drawstring through. The drawstring instructions are for a knitted drawstring, but can also be made using a size H (5mm) crochet hook. Chain the same number of stitches for the knitted drawstring and slip stitch crochet across. The facial features are made with felt (pattern included) and sewn to the finished stocking. Finish off with a handmade or store bought foam snowball name tag (instructions for making also in the pattern). Pattern is knit in the round, ribbing at top of hat, increases and decreases for shaping.
