Becky Doll
Becky’s long hair peeks out from beneath her slouchy hat, curling softly over her shoulders. She’s bundled up in her favourite new scarf—complete with big, cheerful pom poms—and, true to form, she’s tucked her hands into her pockets to keep them warm (she’s far too stubborn for gloves!).
Now she’s all set for a stroll to meet her friends, ready for laughter and good company.
This pattern is perfect for confident beginners—every piece, from the doll to her cozy clothes and accessories, is knitted flat with simple shaping.
Becky’s head, body, legs, and feet are all knitted in one piece from the top down, so there’s very little seaming to worry about. Her arms are made separately and sewn on, making assembly easy and satisfying.
You’ll use increases (make 1 stitch) and slip, slip, knit (ssk) decreases—don’t worry, I walk you through these steps in the pattern. There’s even a handy tutorial to help you master mini pom poms for that extra special finishing touch.
