These socks are for people who like a lot going on with their knitting. We have a ruffle edge, stranded colorwork, sweater-like cable textures and on top of that, purl details and lateral braids.

We start by making a frill in contrastive color. Then we knit a 2x2 ribbing that ends with a purl row. Next part is a colorwork motif where you can pick teddy bears or elephants (or both). After that, we add an Estonian braid and we start the texture pattern. I wanted it to be a bit sweater-like with braid cables, slipped stitches and garter stitch texture. It’s only an 8 stitch repeat so it’s pretty memorizable. At the end, we add another purl row and then anatomical toe. I provide guidelines on how I made a custom toe chart but also give you the charts and instructions on how to make a “normal” wedge toe.
I’ve also linked video tutorials for some parts of the pattern.

The socks are one size only but can be adapted (notes in the pattern) for a bigger or smaller size.

This pattern is more like a general guideline on making these socks (so I don’t recommend it if you haven’t knitted a pair of socks before) but don’t hesitate to ask if you have some problems. I’ll be happy to help. You can also tag me on instagram if you decide to share your finished socks, I’d love to see them! I’m @crochetedbybogusia (and yes, my main thing is crocheting, don’t be alarmed!).

Please note that this pattern has not been tested. If you notice any errors, please let me know and I’ll fix them.
