Beech leaf is a small casual beanie, easy to knit and easy to wear. This lightweight garment is also very warm. A nice lace motif that gives its name to the hat accents the straight lines of the body.

You will need 60-70 g of DK yarn to make this beanie. You may like to knit it quickly before fall using just two balls from your stash. The model is knitted with Rowan designer DK, a discontinued yarn of which you may have two balls in reserve. If not, use any wool in DK weight.
