This all-seasons go-to sweater, with just enough original detailing and a flattering scooped neckline is worked seamlessly from the top down. Stitches for the neck ribbing are picked up and knit at the end. Suitable for an average knitter.

Use a cotton-wool blend for a transitional piece, or any other worsted weight yarn to suit your preference (or climate!). The eyelet details show up best in a yarn with good stitch definition.

Intended to fit with 5-10 cm / 2-4 inches of positive ease at the bust. The body tapers in just slightly from the bust to the upper hips, although this can easily be omitted if an alternative body shape is preferred. Length from underarm including ribbing is 37 cm / 14½ inches. If you plan to lengthen it, make sure you have enough yarn: each additional 4 cm / 1½ inches in length will require approximately 5% more yarn.

Please note the following correction for size XS only:
At the top of page 6, the total sts for the neck trim for size XS should be 110 (not 106).
