Pattern Description
This cuff-down sock combines fun stripes with a stranded colourwork beetle pattern. The main colour yarn works well with multi-coloured sock yarn so enjoy playing with self-striping, variegated and tonal variations. I recommend the CC yarn is a solid which strongly contrasts with your MC for the beetles to really pop. Cuff and toe are knit with MC and the heel flap and heel are knit with CC. Colour work is charted.

Sizing and Yarn Requirements
Three sizes are included in the pattern:
Small to fit foot circumference approx 19 cm / 7 ½ in
Medium to fit foot circumference approx 21.5 cm / 8 ½ in
Large to fit foot circumference approx 25 cm / 9 ½ in

Main Colour requires approx 200 m of fingering-weight yarn. CC requires approximately 175 m.

Techniques
Knitting in the round, decreases, slip stitches, stretchy cast on, reading and following a chart, heel turn, stranded knitting - managing long floats, kitchener stitch
