These striking’Walk in the Woods’ Fair Isle gloves coordinate with the much loved ‘Walk in the Woods Beanie’. They are designed for beginners to stranded knitting in the round but are fun to knit whatever your skill level. The basic thumb can be made as; wrist warmers with no thumb opening, simply as a ‘cast off - cast on’ opening or with a fingerless ribbed thumb insert. The simple peerie patterns are 4 stitch repeats between plain rows so the mitten grows quickly.

The Walk in the Woods Beanie patterns can be found in my online Ravelry shop and knitting kits in my Folksy shop.

The pattern is well laid out with clear coloured charts of the Fair Isle motifs, and photographs to illustrate techniques.
