This scarf design is for ABSOLUTE beginners who want to learn new knitting skills every 20cm! It has turned out to be really popular with expert knitters seeking a relaxing knit with lots of variety.

Just like our other beginners’ scarf (The Garter Scarf) you will learn to cast on, cast off, and how to use the Number 1 stitch used in Knitting, the knit stitch.

… Then you will go on to learn Purl, Ribbing, Moss St; AND three other stitch formations of knitting. By the end, and quite quickly, you will have learn more knitting techniques than many experienced knitters. And you will discover how easy they are.

Size - 120cm x 60cm

Materials - 200g DK weight yarn (225m), although the exact weight of yarn and tension doesn’t matter for this project.

We recommend using our own Gorgeous Alpaca yarn, but any lightweight DK yarn will work well.
