Gorgeous Sampler Sweater
We used Gorgeous Alpaca DK weight alpaca wool, which has a 21 st x 27 row gauge over 10cm. The image shown is knitted in Wine colour.
Sweater construction
The main body is made in one piece (Back and Front) using circular needles from the bottom hem upwards. We have used the terms Rounds. The work splits into front and back at the armholes, at which point we have used the term Rows. The arms can be knitted in the round or as a flat panel. The neck edge and arm edges are knitted in the round using circular needles.
The Stitch Design
The instructions for each design section of the Sampler Sweater are at the back of this pattern book. We have used the term rounds throughout. Once you reach the armholes, you will be working in rows, so some of the Designs have instructions for knitting in the round and knitting in rows.
