I decided to knit a blanket for my daughter, Bella. The last blanket I knit took me four (yes, four!) years to knit because I burned out on all that garter stitch. So I decided this blanket needed to be striped. I used the Fibonacci sequence (well, my version anyway) as the basis for the stripes so that I had varying goals to keep the interest going. It worked! ☺

I recommend using a size 11, 32 inch circular needle. Although it is knit flat, a circular needle helps reduce the strain on your wrists when the blanket gets bigger.

I used approximately 1000 yards to make the blanket in the photo. It is 44 inches wide and 50 inches long.
