Belmar Blues Baby Blanket is a fun and easy baby blanket for those times when you want a quicker knit, chunky weight blanket.
It is appropriate for knitters who enjoy simple knits and purls, with impressive results!

This pattern combines horizontal panels of 3 simple textured stitch patterns, changing color with each section.
Garter stitch edging is knit along with the blanket, so no finishing is required (other than weaving in your ends, and blocking).
The stitch patterns are each reversible, and attractive on both sides.

Suggested materials include 390 yds chunky weight yarn, and size 10 circular needles, 24” length.

Recommended Gauge is 3.5 stitches = 1” in stockinette stitch.
Although the blanket is knit in textured stitches, gauge information is provided in stockinette stitch, for ease in substituting yarns, and/or determining appropriate sized needles.
Change needle size as necessary, to achieve correct gauge and/or a fabric that you like.
Since this is a blanket, exact gauge is not critical. It will, however, affect the finished size and amount of yarn used.

Sample used 3 skeins of Berroco Vintage Chunky, as follows:
2 skeins of color #6125/Aquae (A) and 1 skein of color #6112/Minty (B).

Required skills include casting on, knitting, purling, and binding off.

Enjoy knitting this pattern, and please post photos of your finished blankets!
