The Pattern includes two designs of headwear – “Vesna” hat and beret, both are worked bottom up in the round with no seams, featuring the chunky cable stitch pattern.

Skill level: intermediate, although the pattern is beginner friendly
Pattern is designed for size 1 (2, 3) to be worn with positive ease.
Head size: 50-53 (54-56, 57-59) cm
19 ¾ - 20 ¾ (21 ¼ - 22, 22 ½ - 23 ¼) inches
Yarn: 3 skeins of Alessandra Merino Deluxe, 35% silk, 65% merino wool, 145 m (159 yds) per 50 g skein.
Alternative: BBB MeRiseta, Malabrigo Silky Merino, Rowan Baby Merino Silk.
You may use any mixed with merino yarn in suggested yardage.
Needles: Circular knitting needles 16’’ (40 cm) length cable:
for Size 1
US 2.5 / UK 11 (3 mm) for ribbing;
US 4 / UK 9 or 10 (3.5 mm) for body;
for Size 2
US 4 / UK 9 or 10 (3.5 mm) for ribbing;
US 6 / UK 8 (4 mm) for body;
for Size 3
US 7 / UK 7 (4.5 mm) for ribbing;
US 8 / UK 6 (5mm) for body.

All stitches and techniques are given in written directions as well as demonstrated in photo or video-tutorials.
