The Pattern “USHANKA” is a winter earflap.

There are two variants of the crown, two lengths of ears and i-cord edging.

Skill level: intermediate, although the pattern is beginner friendly.

Earflap is designed for size S, M. L. XL, XXL to be worn with positive ease. Baby’s hat can be added with the ‘ties’

Head size: 48-50, 51-53, 54-56, 57-59, 60-62 cm.

Yarn for hat: Laines du Nord Merino Yak (115 m per 50 g) 2 strands needed

Alternative: Maiwa-Yak By Mafil, Lima by Drops, Alpaca Wool Infinity, Drops Puna Mix / Uni Colour, Gazzal Baby Wool XL. Use any woolen or mixed yarn in suggested yardage.

Needles:
US 10 / UK 0 (6mm) circular needles 40’’ length cable.

All stitches and techniques are given in written directions as well as demonstrated in photo or video-tutorials.
