Layer up with the Bergen Hooded Bib. Designed to provide the warmth and style of a hoodie without the bulk of a full sweater, this modular piece fits seamlessly under jackets or over crewnecks. It features a distinct trapezoid-shaped crown worked seamlessly from the top down—a construction that creates a tailored, ergonomic fit that naturally follows the curve of the head rather than bunching up.

The unique shaping flows into a peaked bib that is worked in the round, offering essential chest coverage and wind protection. The hood opening features a vertically worked rib encasement with a thick strap drawstring, which results in a structured, architectural silhouette. Whether you are looking to weatherproof your favorite coat or simply add a stylized layer to your outfit, this pattern offers a fresh approach to the classic hood.

HOOKS
In the size required to meet your Target Fabric feel (see gauge section). You will also need a second hook 1.5mm smaller for the ribbing and hood tie sections.

Weight: Worsted (4) or Bulky (5)

Aim for a fabric that holds its shape. Go down 1 or 2 hook sizes from what your yarn label recommends.
Gauge per 4” (10cm): May range from 12-20 sts and 10-16 rows
