I was inspired to design colorwork socks using Queen City Yarn’s exclusive Berryhill Yarn during the ZK2020 Virtual Retreat when I found out that customers wanted to use this locally sourced and spun non superwash yarn for their socks. It has taken a while for this design to come to fruition but huzzah, they are here and dare I say fabulous!

The BerryTwill Socks are top down and inclusivley sized from child - adult XL. They feature a colorwork cuff, heel flap, double gusset and wedge toe. I used 3 colors in my sample and LOVE the effect! They can also be knit using only 2 colors of Berryhill Yarn.

These fun socks incorporate 3 colors of Berryhill Yarn. They are worked from the cuff down beginning with a tubular cast on, which provides the perfect amount of stretch without the flare. The leg features a fun, easy to execute, herringbone colorwork pattern. A heel flap and double gusset ensure a perfect fit. The foot is knit in the main color and is finished off with a classic wedge toe.
