These cozy fingerless mitts feature simple crisp cables for timeless style. Ribbing across the palm and a thumb gusset ensure the perfect fit for everyone on your hand knit gift list! Working them up in DK weight yarn means a quick knit too!

Cables look complicated but they are actually fairly easy to execute, especially with a bit of practice. The cables on these mitts are worked over only 3 stitches and offer a great opportunity to learn to cable without a cable needle.

These fingerless mitts were designed using Queen City Yarn Biddleville DK at a gauge of 26 stitches and 32 rows to 4 inches (10 cm) stockinette stitch in the round. I used the Rust colorway for the sample.
