Step into a magical realm with Beyond the Pines, a knitting adventure that weaves the essence of a serene forest into your everyday life. Picture lush pine trees swaying in the breeze, their scent enveloping you in nature’s embrace. Now, envision capturing that magic in your hands.

Beyond the Pines introduces a stunningly simple yet profoundly impactful texture, immersing you in the forest’s heart. This pattern beckons to be paired with a vibrant green yarn, echoing the splendour of the outdoors. Witness the finished product, and you’ll swear you can hear the wind whispering through the trees.

Despite its simplicity, this texture unfolds an extraordinary tale with every stitch. Immerse yourself in the dance of intricacy as your creation takes shape, offering a front-row seat to the forest’s enchanting narrative.

Don’t underestimate its charm – Beyond the Pines is a masterpiece in simplicity. Knit your way into an enchanting journey, watching your very own piece of the forest materialise before your eyes. Unveil the whimsy and wonder as you embrace the magic of the forest, creating a timeless piece that captivates and delights for years to come.

Worked from the bottom up, Beyond the Pines allows you to craft a perfectly fitting hat seamlessly in the round. The construction involves starting with the brim, progressing to the body, and culminating with shaping the crown. As you approach the final stages of the crown, you’ll need to switch from using 16” / 40 cm circular needles to either the magic loop method or double-pointed needles, depending on your preference for tackling smaller circumferences.

A notable feature of this hat pattern is its versatility in accommodating different sizes. For the pattern motif and crown, there are both written directions and charts available. You’ll be able to work independently with your preferred directions once the brim is done.
