PDF Pattern Crochet Apple Cap in Flaming Red Sayelle acrylic yarn. This one has a simple style of 12 cascading ribs falling from the very top with 2 rows of ribs intersecting them around the body of the hat. Brim is tucked under the front of the cap.

Circumference of opening is 23”, but since this is a cap that just lays over the top of the forehead and snuggles the back of the head, It should fit most head sizes.

Great thing about the cap is that it looks great on a man or a woman.

The Apple Hat/Cap is also known as the 8 Quarter, Gatsby, Newsboy and Baker Boy. They all have the same basic shape and the top overhangs the brim in front like the Ivy or Golf Hat / Cap. However, the Apple and Newsboys, etc., are larger, rounder, fuller and paneled. They sometimes have a button on top.
