The Bilo Bias Wrap is a large cozy rectangular wrap. The construction is similar to the original Bilo Wrap, which was inspired by the Half + Half Triangles Wrap by Purl Soho. The main difference to the original Bilo Wrap is that this wrap is knitted on the bias. Knitted on the bias is more fun to knit, has that elegant diagonal stitch, and creates nicely finished edges. As with the original Bilo Wrap, the wrap is knitted in garter stitch using short rows to create multiple triangles. The width and length of the wrap can be easily adapted by simply changing the number of increases in the first triangle (increase section). The larger that stitch count, the wider and longer the wrap will be, and vice versa. The sample version of the wrap was knitted using one skein for each triangle, though you may use as much yarn as you have available. The sample version of the wrap also used two alternating colors to highlight the separate triangles, though you may play with up to six colors. And, the sample version of the wrap was knitted using a DK weight yarn, though you may use fingering or sport weight yarn. Enjoy the options of this dynamic knit!

SHORT ROWS
The pattern uses the Wrap and Turn technique. For design reasons, two variations of knitting the wrapped stitches are used (with and without the wrap). For this reason, the pattern may not be directly transferable to other short row methods, such as German Short Rows.
• wrap and turn: Keeping yarn in back, slip next stitch purlwise from left needle to right needle. Bring yarn to front. Return slipped stitch to left needle. Turn work.
• knit with wrap: Keeping yarn in back, pick up the wrap with the right needle from front to back, then insert the needle into the wrapped stitch knitwise. Knit the stitch and wrap together.
• knit without wrap: Keeping yarn in back, knit the stitch without its wrap.
