This sock pattern was originally designed as a Mystery Knit-along for Super Sock Scarefest 2025. The original clues are still available, but it’s probably best to download the full pattern pdf.

The design on these toe-up socks is inspired by the cyborg character Adam from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, a creature composed of human, zombie and cybernetic parts. The socks are designed specifically for self-striping yarn inspired by his patchwork appearance, but could be made with two or more colours of yarn giving you stripes of your preferred width. You could also use any combination of oddments, mini-skeins or leftovers.

Pattern will originally be released as a mystery knit-along as the warm-up pattern for Super Sock Scarefest 2025. It will be split into a number of files for each clue. The full pattern will be available later.
