Each time a new baby is on its way around me, I have to knit it a blanket.
When my sister announced to us the big news, I knew I wanted to knit something with birds on it because she and her hubby love them. Since I couldn’t find any pattern I liked, I decided to make my own, and the “Birds on a branch blanket” was born!

Version 1.2
I’ve been working with Erica Heusser, designer of the Passerine Hat, after receiving many messages regarding the chart of the birds used in my original blanket. Unfortunately, those things do happens sometimes nowadays with internet. Considering that, I’ve worked on a new chart for the birds section of this blanket that is my own work. You can see the new design in the photo from this pattern.

Chaque fois qu’un petit bébé est en retour dans mon entourage, je lui tricote une couverture. Quand ma soeur nous a annoncé la grande nouvelle, je savais que je voulais tricoter quelque chose avec des oiseaux parce qu’elle et son conjoint les adores. Étant donné que je n’ai pas de trouvé de patron qui me plaisait, j’ai décidé de créer le mien et la « Couverture Birds on a branch » était née!

Malheureusement, ce genre d’événement arrive de plus en plus avec internet. Considérant ce qui précède, j’ai travaillé sur une nouvelle charte pour la section des oiseaux qui est ma propre invention. Vous pouvez voir ce nouveau motif dans les photos de ce patron.
