The story behind this cowl is super simple. I wanted a gift for a colleague that wouldn’t cost me too much and wouldn’t be time cosuming. And I wanted to try a jumbo yarn.

I search on Ravelry, but couldn’t find a pattern that was satisfying, so I decided to design one for myself.

This cowl is knitted flat because I wanted the braid to be around the neck, like a ring. It start with a provisional cast and you join your work with kitchener stitch when your satisfied with the size of the cowl. The pattern is easy to follow, and really fast to knit.

If like me you want a project that is on the cheaper side and is fast to knit (or if you need a last minute gift!), grab a pair of jumbo needles and follow those simple instructions :)

L’histoire derrière ce foulard infini est simple. Je voulais un cadeau pour une collègue qui ne me coûterait pas trop cher et que serait rapide à faire. Et je voulais essayer une laine Jumbo.

J’ai cherché sur Ravelry, mais je n’ai pas trouvé de patron qui me plaisait, alors j’ai décidé de créer le miens.

Ce foulard infini est tricoté à plat parce que je voulais que la tresse soit autour du cou, comme un jonc. Il commence avec un montage de maille provisionnel et est joint à la fin en utilisant le point kitchener. La patron est facile à suivre et rapide à tricoter.

Si comme moi vous souhaitez un projet bon marché et rapide à tricoter (ou si vous avez besoin d’un cadeau de dernière minute!), attrapez une paire d’aiguilles jumbo et suivez ces quelques instructions :)
