Birkett Landing is the name of an apartment building, thoughtfully rescued and restored by my uncle. The building was originally a building that made up part of Birkett Mills, famous for their buckwheat pancakes.

This stitch pattern was inspired by the brickwork that can be found throughout the building.

Yarn used:
Brooklyn Tweed Tones 100% American Columbia Wool- 140 Yards- 128 Meters
Sample used 1 1/4 Skeins
or approximately 170 Yards worsted weight
Sample knit in Persimmon undertone.
Beanie is intended to be a slouchy fit.

Needles: US 5(3.75 mm) 16” Circular & DPNs (or size needle to achieve gauge

Gauge: 20 stitches by 28 stitches to 4 inches
