Black Cat Basics patterns are designed for beginner
knitters who want to make something they will actually want to wear.

The Basics Cowl is an excellent first knitting project, as it’s knit at with no increasing or decreasing, and only uses knit stitch.

The moebius construction makes this cowl something even experienced knitters will want to make and wear!

Needles:
5 mm/US size 8 straight or circular needle(s) (cowl is worked flat)

Notions: Tapestry needle (for finishing)

Yarn:
Any worsted weight/10 ply or heavy DK that can achieve gauge
Quantity needed: approx. 174metres/190yards total
