A thick, cozy throw is the perfect weapon to battle a tough winter. Let the simplicity of each stitch remind you to find gratitude in the moment and always look for the best in each situation life presents to you.

  • The sample shown used approximately 2439 yds/2230 m total: Color A: 493 yds/451 m, Color B: 197 yds/180 m, Color C: 204 yds/187 m, Color D: 230 yds/210 m, Color E: 200 yds/183 m, Color F: 195 yds/178 m, Color G: 197 yds/180 m, Color H: 210 yds/192 m, and Color I: 513 yds/ 469 m.
  • The original blanket was made with 12 skeins of our Dewy DK yarn in color Still of the Night. The original version used 2813 yards (2572 m) total.
  • This pattern is easily adjustable for both height and width. To adjust for height, knit the body pattern to your desired length, excluding about 2” (5 cm) for the final border and bind off. To adjust for width, add or subtract stitches in a multiple of 4 for the body.
  • If using hand-dyed yarn, please make sure to purchase sufficient yardage from the same dye lot.
  • The yarn is held triple throughout this pattern, so you don’t need to alternate skeins every few rows. Just make sure you’ve blended your skeins as much as possible to ensure an even distribution of color.
  • A table for the color transitions is on page 6.
