I didn’t really have a pattern when I made this, but here is what I did to the best of my memory. I am not a pattern writer, but feel free to message me with any questions and I will try to help.

Bowtie (ALL ORANGE):
Ch 6
SC in 2nd Ch from hook and across. (5)
Ch 1, Turn, SC across. (5)
Repeat until band of bowtie is just slightly longer than circumference of child’s neck.
Weave in ends.
Attach sticky back velcro so that band can be adjusted.

Ch 11
SC in 2nd Ch from hook and across. (10)
Ch 1, Turn, SC across. (10)
Repeat until strip is twice the desired width of bowtie.
Fasten off with tail long enough sew edges together to make a big loop with strip. Do not twist.

Place the bowtie loop (seam towards band) against the band and wrap yarn around securing the loop to the band simulating a knot. Tie off and you have your bowtie

Suspenders (ALL ORANGE):
Ch 11
SC in 2nd ch from hook and across. (10)
Ch 1, Turn, SC across. (10)
Repeat until strip reaches middle of child’s back.
Ch 1, Turn, SC in BLO across. (10)
Ch 1, Turn, SC across. (10)
Repeat until strip is long enough to go over child’s shoulder and tuck into front of pants. Fasten off.
Attach to the front loop of the row where you worked in the back loop only to create the second strap of the suspenders.
SC in FLO across. (10)
Ch 1, Turn, SC across. (10)
Repeat until strip is long enough to go over child’s shoulder and tuck into front of pants. Fasten off.

Use small pieces of yarn looped around the child’s belt loops, push through the suspenders and tie behind the suspender to hold them in place. Tuck ties into pants with remainder of suspender. Do this for all three ends.

I used a printout of the Blippi logo taped to a piece of thin cardboard (cereal box) and then used contact paper to make it more sturdy. A piece of stick on velcro will hold the picture to the back of the suspenders.

Hat:
First I made the triangles. You’ll need 4 orange triangles and 4 blue triangles.

Ch 16.
HDC in 2nd Ch from hook and across. (15)
Ch 1, Turn, HDC across. (15)
Ch 1, Turn, HDC2TOG, 11 HDC, HDC2TOG. (13)
Ch 1, Turn, HDC across. (13)
Ch 1, Turn, HDC2TOG, 9 HDC, HDC2TOG. (11)
Ch 1, Turn, HDC across. (11)
Ch 1, Turn, HDC2TOG, 7 HDC, HDC2TOG. (9)
Ch 1, Turn, HDC across. (9)
Ch 1, Turn, HDC2TOG, 5 HDC, HDC2TOG. (7)
Ch 1, Turn, HDC across. (7)
Ch 1, Turn, HDC2TOG, 3 HDC, HDC2TOG. (5)
Ch 1, Turn, HDC across. (5)
Ch 1, Turn, HDC2TOG, 1 HDC, HDC2TOG. (3)
Ch 1, Turn, HDC across. (3)
Ch 1, Turn, HDC2TOG twice using middle ST in both stitches. (2)
Ch 1, Turn, HDC2TOG.
Fasten off leaving a long tail that will be used to sew this triangle to the one next to it.

Once you have all your triangles, lay them down in the order you plan to sew them, making sure that you have them all facing the same way so that you have a tail for each seam. Sew down the seam towards the brim of the hat making sure that you sew back loops only and the yarn doesn’t show through to the top of the hat. Weave in all ends.

Each triangle has a 15 stitch base for 120 total stitches. Attach ORANGE yarn and SC in each ST around. Slip stitch into first stitch, Ch 1.
(SC 13, SC2TOG) x 8 (112), Slip Stitch into first stitch, Ch 1.
(SC 12, SC2TOG) x 8 (104), Slip Stitch into first stitch, Ch 1.
Continue until circle is close to the circumference of your child’s head.

In ORANGE, Ch 11.
SC in BLO 2nd ch from hook and across. (10)
Ch 1, Turn, SC in BLO across. (10)
Continue until band (when gently stretched) fits snugly around your child’s head. Sew ends of band together and leave enough of a tail to sew band to the top part of the hat.
Sew band to hat and weave in ends.

Best of luck!
