Blocks Cardigan
Blocks Cardigan is a timeless, striped cardigan for children, featuring bold, wide stripes and a relaxed fit. With its simple silhouette and classic two-colour design, it’s an easy-to-wear piece that pairs beautifully with everyday outfits.
The cardigan is worked seamlessly from the top down, allowing you to adjust the length of the body and sleeves to suit your preferences. German Short Rows shape the neckline for a comfortable fit, while raglan increases create a relaxed silhouette with plenty of room for layering.
Finished with neat ribbed edges, matching cuffs and buttoned front bands, Blocks Cardigan combines thoughtful details with a clean, modern look. Choose two contrasting colours for a bold statement or softer shades for a more subtle effect.
A versatile wardrobe staple for little ones, designed to be worn, loved and passed on.

SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE
The Blocks Cardigan is worked seamlessly from the top down. The neck edge is worked first, followed by the back yoke, which is shaped with German Short Rows for a comfortable neckline. The yoke is then worked back and forth with raglan increases, creating a relaxed fit. The body and sleeves are divided at the underarms and worked separately. The body is finished with a 1x1 ribbed hem and Italian bind-off, while the sleeves are worked in the round and finished with matching ribbed cuffs. Front bands are picked up and worked separately, with buttonholes added to the right front band.
