Meet the Bloom boom blanket!
The pattern is made using the overlay mosaic crochet technique in the round. It might look difficult, but it only consists of dc’s and sc’s and is a lot easier than in looks!
With this pattern you will get a complete picture tutorial and full written instructions from the very first stitch, to the very last stitch, so even if you are new to crochet, you can do it!
The flower hexagon is extremely versatile, and with it, you can make a variety of finished items like blankets, bags, scarfs, pillows etc - your imagination is the limit.
yarn used/suggested yarn
You can use whatever yarn you want for this pattern, as long as you change the hook sizes accordingly. If you use thicker or thinner yarn, the finished size will vary, but the proportions will stay the same.
For my blanket i have used:
1 x Scheepjes whirl, 215g/1000m “popsicle rainbow
3.5 x Scheepjes whirlette 100g/455m “ice”
1 x Scheepjes whirlette 100g/455 “banana”
This amount is for the whole blanket, including the border.
