The Bloom By Bloom Graphgan is a bold floral crochet blanket pattern featuring three oversized abstract flowers in warm, earthy colors. With its rich green leaves, red and yellow flowers, and contrasting cream background, it makes a colorful statement without feeling too busy.

The blanket is worked in single crochet using intarsia colorwork. The large flower shapes and flowing leaves create plenty of variety as you crochet, while the limited four-color palette keeps the project manageable.

Skill level: Intermediate.

COLOR CHANGES

I recommend using intarsia colorwork and making a new bobbin at each color change. Using bobbins will help keep the different sections organized and make it much easier to manage your yarn as you work across the larger flower and leaf shapes.

If you are new to this method, the pattern includes links to my written and video graphgan color-change tutorials to guide you through the process.
