This beautiful bandana-style cowl is the perfect accessory for springtime or anytime! It’s airy design creates a lovely statement piece without the bulk of a large shawl or scarf. A fun way to show off your knitwear, even in the warmer months! The stripes on this cowl start out small and grow larger, just like the flowering petal blossoms of spring.

A perfect gift knit, using only about 35 grams per colorway, this cowl knits up very quickly, is easy to wear, a great way to use up partial skeins or maybe even a fun way to incorporate mini skeins! I used a light speckled yarn and a darker tonal (both Sweet Tea Yarns by MollyKleinDesign on the Sweet Sock base) but you can definitely use two tonals, two speckles, or a variety of colors. The choice is yours!

This cowl is worked flat, then quickly seamed up the back with a few stitches after blocking. No purling! A great on the go project or TV knit. Instructions are given for the size shown, but can very easily be altered. The pattern will give you guidance where and when to increase if you plan on making the cowl wider or longer.

Thank you so much for your support of my designs, my little shop, and my little growing family! It means the world to me!
Happy Knitting! Hugs, Molly xoxo
