The Blooming Trellis Blanket is all about blooms! Cosy, snuggly, and beautifully textured, this blanket features a simple eyelet and cable pattern along sides, with elegant leaves and flower buds growing across the centre panel.
Worked seamlessly in one piece from the bottom up, using chunky yarn and 7.00 mm (US 10 ¾) circular needle. The pattern is easily adaptable and can be knitted in almost any yarn weight. For example, use finer yarn and smaller needles to create a child’s blanket, or choose arran or super chunky yarn with larger needles for a teenager’s bedroom. The length and width can also be adjusted by working more or fewer pattern repeats.

SKILL LEVEL: Advanced Intermediate.
Stitches used: k, p, yo, m1, k2tog, ssk, 2/2 RC, 1/1RC, mb.
The pattern includes both- fully written instructions, and chart.

MATERIALS REQUIRED
• 1300g chunky weight yarn, or any other you love.
NOTE You can use any other weight yarn as there no need to follow the gauge for this blanket.
• 1 Circular needle 7.00 mm x 100 cm (US 10 ¾).
• 1 Tapestry needle.

GAUGE (tension): 10 sts and 15 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 in) measured over Stockinette Stitch, blanket being blocked, using 7.00mm (US 10 ¾) circular needle. NOTE Gauge is not crucial for this pattern.

MEASUREMENTS AFTER BLOCKING
120 cm (length) x 180 cm (width) / 47 ¼ in (length) x 71 in (width). NOTE Your blanket size depends on your gauge, yarn, and needle size.
