About

The Blue Mountains of the North is a drop sleeve, knitted bottom up sweater that is all about texture! Unquestionably, this sweater was designed with fall in mind. I envision the sweater to be layered over linen dresses or to be worn with your favorite jeans. There’s no boredom in this pattern--keeping things interesting, making for a fairly fast knit!

O Wool graciously provided the yarn support for the BMOTN sweater (as well as all patterns in the Hudson Valley Collection). Please check out and consider using this yarn… it is incredible! Test Knitters

The work… the knitting performed by the test knitters was invaluable! Our active dialogue helped me format this pattern to make it easy to follow and to spot possible errors in the pattern before publishing! Their suggestions, recommendations and critiques helped shape this pattern to what it is today! Here is the complete list of test knitters for this pattern. I could not publish this sweater without this lovely group of talented, committed and hard-working test knitters. Thank you to each and every one of you! I am so grateful… (listed in no particular order)
