Transitioning from summer to fall can be so sweet…

This sock pattern is knit cuff down featuring fun bobbles and a slipped stitch on the leg with an eyelet stitch pattern on the foot making them the perfect end of summer heading into fall socks. Great for binge watching Gilmore Girls while you knit.

Materials:
Size US 2 (2.75mm) 32-40” circulars for magic loop method, or size needed to obtain gauge
Waste yarn
Darning needle

Yarn Recommendation:
Sample shown in Lizzie Anne Yarns Soft Sock Set in Sookie’s Blueberry Shortcake color way (75% Super-wash/Merino 25% Nylon 4ply Fingering/Sock Weight, 644 yards/140g), or any other sock yarn of similar weight. 1 skein yarn sock used was I Smell Snow Color way by Teeny Button Studios

Gauge: 8-9 sts per inch in stockinette

Sizes: Fits foot circumference approx 7”-10”

Special Techniques:

MB: Bobble stitch is (kfb; kfb again) all into the next st; turn, sl1pw, p3; turn, sl2kw, k2tog, psso
Note: Gently pull on the stitches after purling them to help the bobble puff out.
Afterthought Heel: This pattern is written with a variation of the afterthought heel, but feel free to make the sock with any heel type you prefer.
