“It’s the beginning of a relationship, you’re supposed to act stupid.” The beginning of Luke’s and Lorelai’s relationship is one of my favorite parts of the show. Oh who am I kidding I love it all. The scene where Lorelai is flirting with Luke at the diner and trying to get him to flirt back is what inspired these socks. I wanted something a little flirty. I wanted to slip these on with my favorite pair of jeans and ankle books and have a little extra “jaunt” in my steps. That way when my hubby sees me walk by he can say those jeans are really working for me too! Secretly it’s the socks!

Needles
2.75 mm/US 2 needles or whatever size needed to get gauge

Gauge
8 stitches x 11 rows = 1 in or 2.5 cm in stockinette in the round, blocked

Sizes
Size is based on average fit. Larger foot (9-10 shoe size used US 2 needle) Smaller foot (6-8 use smaller needle). The length is adjustable.
