This is my third crochet along and one which was inspired by my previous quilt making and putting different styles and shapes next to each other like a sampler quilt. I love how the same thing can look so different by colour placement or subtle pattern changing. This blanket measures 60 inches by 55 inches.

There are no colour rules or suggestions in this crochet along. I have left it entirely to you to decide what to use and where, there is however below a total yardage and meterage. There are variations to a number of the parts which means your finished blanket will be individual in its own right. There are no tricky stitches in this crochet along so if you can do a single, double and treble with the odd bobble or popcorn you’ll be fine. You can also make the final border as wide as you want. I work entirely in US terminology throughout. The samples and my original blanket was completed in double knit yarn on a 4mm hook, if you decide to go up or down a weight you will need to alter your hook size to fit the yarn.

I used James C Brett Double Knit Merino which is a 100 gram ball with yardage of 317yd and meterage of 290m. I used 5 balls in the parchment colour (DM16), and three of each of the colours, green (DM12), pink (DM7) and purple (4), 14 balls in total. This give a total yarn length of:

Yards 4,438
Meters 4,060
