A top-down, seamless raglan worked in the round, this sweater was inspired by my eldest daughter’s delight in watching a bumble bee in clover one sunny summer morning. Featuring oversized bobbles and garter ridge stripes, the sweater has lots of room for movement and climbing trees. It’s got just the right amount of color work to keep it interesting but not be tedious and a bit of texture too, just for fun!

Skill Level: Intermediate. Uses increases and decreases, knitting in the round, picking up stitches, simple color work and bobbles.

Pattern is written in English for both imperial and metric. Sweater is designed to have 2” (5 cm) positive ease. Select your size based on actual chest measurement plus 2” (5 cm).

To knit this sweater, you will need:
• One worsted weight wool main color (MC) yarn and three worsted weight wool contrast colors (CC) A, B & C.
• US #5 (3.75mm) and US #7 (4.5mm) needles (or size needed to achieve gauge): DPNs and 16” circulars (in both sizes) for 0-4t; DPNs, 16” circulars and 24” circulars (in both sizes) for 4t-12y; or 40” circular needles (in both sizes) using magic loop method for all sizes.
