This blanket is made up of a repeat pattern of four white bobble stitch rows, followed by a single row of grey bobble stitch. The entire blanket is then surrounded by four rows of white and grey single crochet.

This pattern makes a baby size blanket ranging from 32”/81cm to 34”/87cm square, but can be made larger or smaller. The initial chain needs to be an even number plus 1sc, for example 61 chains, 101 chains or 121 chains. The rows can then be continued until the desired length is reached.

This blanket can be made with any brand of double knit yarn, as long as a 5mm hook is used to ensure a flexible blanket. It uses five skeins of double knit yarn in total.
