I am always looking for a way to use up those leftover partial skeins of yarn. Living in a particularly snowy and cold area, I am also on the lookout for ways to stay extra warm. This afghan meets both objectives.

This very heavy afghan is colorful, warm, and mindless knitting. It requires not a single purl stitch and can be made from whatever scrap worsted weight yarn you have sitting around.

My favorite part is when the afghan gets long enough to cover your toes. Then you can knit away on it while being cozy.
